Abstract
D-E hysteresis loops were observed along the b axis, a unique axis of the monoclinic system below 0°C. Dielectric measurements were carried out for as-grown crystals above and below the ferroelectric transition temperature 0°C. The phase transition near 0°C was shown to be improper and interpreted from Landau theory of phase transition. Landau free energy about ferroelectric phase transition was obtained taking into account the symmetry of the monoclinic system(P21/c) and from this dielectric constants in each axis were derived.
