EPR study of Pb3[(P,V)O4]2

Abstract

Electron paramagnetic resonance studies of lead orthophoshate doped with Mn2+ ions are reported. It has been shown that the first order phase transition at Tc = 453 K is evidenced through coexistence of EPR lines originating from high and low temperature phases. Moreover, an additional broad resonance line is observed above Tc in the place of sharp EPR lines of the low temperature phase.
