On unusual behaviour of piezoelectric coefficients of lead titanate type ferroelectric ceramics

Abstract

The calculations of piezoelectric coefficients of perovskite - type ferroelectric ceramics have been fulfilled. The nonmonotonic dependence of d*₃₁ coefficients of some PbTiO₃-based ceramics on the polarizing electric strength field has been shown. The unusual behaviour of d*₃₁ of these ceramics correlates with the large anisotropy of piezoelectric coefficients.
