Abstract

To explain the dielectric properties of relaxor ferroelectrics, the deficiencies of relaxation models which corresponds to the flip-flopping of polar regions are indicated to compare with the experimental results at low temperature. A resonance polarization mechanism which corresponds to the breathing of polar region is introduced. It is indicated that the dielectric constant at low temperature is mainly contributed by the resonance polarization.
