Abstract
Highly crystalline and uniaxial oriented PTFE films, nanostructured in one dimension, were used to produce a new kind of fully crystalline, thermo-reversible morphology in the ferroelectric copolymer Poly[Vinylidenefluoride-Trifluoroethylene]. The resulting state is built up of regularly stacked lamella crystals of about 100 nm thickness and lateral dimensions and about 20 μm building up a superlattice. Two elastic instabilities have been found in the vicinity of the ferroelectric transition of the single crystal.
