Abstract
The EPR spectra of VO2+ complexes in Cs5H3(SO4)4 · H2O have been investigated with the aim to study of SO2- 4 ions and H2O molecules motions in the range (80–420) K. Results of EPR analyses presented, reveal gradual water molecules ‘freezing’ down to Tg = 260 K and an additional SO2- 4 unit freezing correlated to H2O. It is shown that correlated interaction between SO2- 4 ions and water molecules leads to glassy-like freezing below Tg .
