The echo technique for studying the kinetics and dynamics of ferroelectrics liquid crystals is suggested. Amplitude of the echo caused by two pulses of microwave electric field have been calculated for smectic liquid crystals with both uniform and helicoidal distribution of the molecules. It has been shown that the magnitude of echo is quite accessible to measurement.
