Arthur N. Mabbett
Captain Arthur N. Mabbett is currently assigned to the Industrial Hygiene Division, U.S. Army Environmental Hygiene Agency, Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD 21010. During preparation of this manuscript he served as Chief, Health and Environment Service, Tripler Army Medical Center, Honolulu, Hawaii, 96438. Captain Mabbett holds a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from the University of Massachusetts, Boston, and Master of Science in Environmental Sciences from Rutgers University. He is a member of the American Public Health Association, the Water Pollution Control Federation, and National Environmental Health Association.
Captain Mabbett and Ms Flynn established a comprehensive Nosocomial Infection Surveillance and Environmental Control Program for Tripler Army Medical Center. Their experience has been used in formulating infection control programs within the State of Hawaii and the U.S. Army Medical Department.
Mary M. Flynn
Ms Mary M. Flynn is currently serving as the Infection Control Officer, Tripler Army Medical Center, Honolulu, Hawaii. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology from the University of Wisconsin, and a Master of Science from the University of Hawaii, School of Public Health.
