Pages 221-228 | Received 08 Feb 1968, Published online: 31 Jan 2008

Abstract

The failure of a hypnotized S to execute a suggested task may have contributed to a failure to dehypnotize, the repression of the unsuccessful task after awakening, and a prolongation or reinstatement of hypnosis 3 days later. Some interview material and procedures utilized in handling the problems encountered are presented.
