Some improvements on the convergence of the interval maor method

Abstract

In this paper we present a general form of an interval iterative method and we obtain upper and lower bounds for the spectral radius of its iteration matrix generalising the results given in [2] and [15].

We also consider the interval version of the Modified Accelerated Overrelaxation (MAOR) method and we improve the sufficient convergence conditions established in [10].
