Analysis of convergence of parallelized pfi for coupled large-scale nonlinear systems

Pages 527-542 | Received 15 Sep 1999, Published online: 19 Mar 2007

Abstract

Analysis of convergence of parallelized PFI (Perturbed Functional Iteration) for coupled large-scale nonlinear systems has been studied in this article. It has been found that with regard to each individual parallel processor, the rate of convergence is quadratic. However, when we view the synchronism with regard to all processors, then quadratic convergence is reduced to a linear rate of convergence mathematically.
