Abstract

An improved numerical method is presented for singularly perturbed Robin problems in this paper. In this method (“Booster method”), an asymptotic approximation is incorporated into a finite difference scheme to improve the numerical solution. Error estimates are proposed for the present method. In order to show the efficiency numerical examples are presented.
