AOR type iterations for solving preconditioned linear systems

Abstract

An AOR type iterative method for solving preconditioned linear systems, with the preconditioner (I+β S) where β is a real number, is presented. Convergence of the method applied to L-matrices is discussed. Our results contain and extend previous results.
