Algorithmization and mechanization of the Cauchy problem associated with the plate equation

Abstract

This paper develops the algorithm and mechanization of the Cauchy problem associated with the plate equation. The solution is obtained in terms of the initial data on the deflection of the plate and the load term. Thereafter, the algorithmization formulae are used in MAPLE to solve the Cauchy problem automatically.
