Alternating group explicit iterative method for nonlinear singular Fredholm Integro-differential boundary value problems

Abstract

We discuss alternating group explicit (AGE) iterative method for the numerical solution of linear and non-linear singular integro-differential boundary value problems. The proposed AGE iterative method shows the superiority over the corresponding successive over relaxation (SOR) iterative methods. The presented algorithm is suitable for the use on parallel computers. The convergence analysis is briefly discussed. Computational results are presented to illustrate the utility of the proposed method.
