A boundary value technique for the analysis of laminar boundary layer flows Footnote

Abstract

The Falkner-Skan equation for similar profiles is solved using a boundary value technique.The analytical boundary condition at infinity is applied at the boundary of the computational mesh, at a finite distance from the region of interest. The numerical results show excellent agreement with the established similarity solutions for stagnation flows. The algorithm is computationally simple.
