Index on etol array languages

Abstract

Nirmal and Krithivasan have introduced the theory of ETOL Array Systems and EOL Array Systems and discussed their properties [9]. The concept of finite index for ETOL Systems is investigated by Rozenberg and Vermeir in [11], In this paper we extend the concept of finite index to two dimensions by investigating the effect of finite index on ETOL Array Systems. Though ETOL Array Systems are closed under transpose and quarterturn, it is interesting to observe that it is not so in the case of ETOL Array Systems of restricted finite (finite) index. Finally hierarchy of ETOL Array Systems (EOL Array Systems! of restricted finite (finite) index is established.
