Abstract
In this paper, the parallel solution of linear Volterra integral equations of the second kind are presented
After a suitable quadrature technique, the row and column sweep parallel algorithms for the solution of the triangular linear system are discussed. The algorithm was implemented on the Loughborough NEPTUNE MIMD system for 1, 2, 3 and 4 processors and the performance results analysed
