Optimization techniques for singularly perturbed ordinary differential equations

Abstract

Static optimization techniques has been applied to the boundary layer and turning point problems, where a wide class of linear boundary layer problems has been formulated as optimization problems. The non-linear case is considered as well. Results and comparisons are given at the end of this paper.
