Abstract

Recently, we established a family of sixth-order four-step exponential-fitted methods for solving the initial value problem . This family depends on five parameters: a four-dimensional vector ω2 which is tuned in terms of f(x,y) and a scalar q that is fixed in terms of stability requirements. Based on this family a code called EFM5 has been developed. In the present paper, we give a briefFootnote This paper covers a talk communicated at ICPAM 95, Isa Town, Bahrein. In other papers, the method is exposed in much more details overview of some of the features of these methods and the code.
