Abstract

This paper deals with the problem of minimal-time control of a class of linear distributed-parameter systems whose input function is subject to multiple-norm constraints. The method reduces the multiple-norm constraints into an equivalent composite-norm functional. The method of L-theory of moments is used to obtain the solution. The method gives rise to three auxiliary problems:

(i) An infinite set of integral equations.

(ii) A minimization problem in L 1space.

(iii) A minimization problem in the dual space.
