Pole specification in decoupled systems†

Pages 651-664 | Received 14 May 1971, Published online: 02 Apr 2007

Abstract

A simplified method for arbitrary specification of poles in linear, stationary multi-variable systems decoupled by linear, state-variable feedback is presented. This method allows the arbitrary placement of the maximum number of poles and is suitable for hand calculations.
