A graphical synthesis technique for non-linear control systems†

Abstract

A graphical design technique is advanced for the synthesis of controllers of non-linear systems, using the sufficiency conditions of the circle criterion. The technique is based on construction on the Nyquist plane whereby the parameters of the compensator and the range of the value of gain for asymptotic stability in the large are determined.
