Spectral domain analysis of cylindrical microstrip transmission lines on ferrite substrates

Abstract

This paper finds the propagation constant of general 2-D cylindrical microstrip and coupled microstrip transmission lines, with and without dielectric overlay, that are printed on ferrite substrates. The ferrite substrate is excited by an axial DC magnetic field. The accuracy of our results is verified by comparisons with other full-wave and quasi-static results. The proposed method is versatile, accurate and rapidly convergent.
