Abstract

A parabolic temperature dependence of the threshold voltage for V2O5 glass devices, made from overheated V2O5 melts, is found. The experimental results are interpreted in terms of the nucleation theory of switching and the experimental values are found to be very close to the values of the quantities given in the theory.
