Abstract

A parabolic temperature dependence of the threshold voltage for V₂O₅ glass devices, made from overheated V₂O₅ melts, is found. The experimental results are interpreted in terms of the nucleation theory of switching and the experimental values are found to be very close to the values of the quantities given in the theory.
