Keys to species of Ceratacis and Synopeas from New Zealand, with the description of new species (Hymenoptera: Platygastridae)

Abstract

Fifteen species new to science are described, viz. Ceratacis capitata, Ceratacis newzealandica, Ceratacis valentinei, Synopeas densisetosum, Synopeas denticorne, Synopeas elegans, Synopeas kristenseni, Synopeas lanuginosum, Synopeas marrisi, Synopeas motuhoropapense, Synopeas occipitocarinatum, Synopeas ramsayi, Synopeas terrestre, Synopeas trifolii, and Synopeas wardi. Keys to the hereby known N.Z. species of Ceratacis and Synopeas are provided.
