Overpopulation, underdevelopment and poverty — the main issues of world population

Abstract

In this paper I shall make some comments on the World Population Conference in Bucharest in 1974. I shall briefly describe the global situation with respect to overpopulation and underdevelopment, and I shall conclude by reviewing some of the necessary ingredients for a realistic population policy in a developed country such as Britain.
