Abstract
After examining the increase in congenital defects among children, the author investigates the effects of trace elements in food on health. Some remedies are suggested as regards nutritional deficits. The author's technique of hair analysis is described in some detail in regard to trace elements. Particular attention is then paid to nutritional disorders in children and their prevention.
