Abstract

A new approach to H almost disturbance decoupling for a class of linear systems is proposed in this note by using a backstepping-like technique. It is shown that the H almost disturbance decoupling problem can always be solved for the class of linear systems, and one key advantage of the proposed approach is that the static state feedback control law for the H almost disturbance decoupling can be constructively obtained.
