Family realizations of transfer functions in canonical form

Abstract

A procedure for family realizations of transfer functions in various canonical forms, for example, companion, Schwarz and Routh, is proposed. By substituting different values of an arbitrary constant a, different realizations may be obtained in the same canonical form. The procedure is illustrated with the help of an example.
