Infinite gain loop and simulation of singular systems

Pages 433-441 | Received 03 Oct 1989, Published online: 29 Oct 2007

Abstract

We present a simulation for singular systems. An infinite gain loop is discussed and used to generate an impulsive mode for both single-input-output and multivariable systems, then the simulation is implemented by integrators and amplifiers. Some interesting issues such as the reachability at infinity, the controllability at infinity and the impulsive mode elimination are scrutinized by using the simulation.
