Abstract
Stability robustness measures for a perturbed linear system are derived based on state-space models of the system. The system may be a continuous-time or discrete-time system. The perturbations are modelled as additive perturbation matrices. Sufficient conditions for the stability of the perturbed linear system are derived in terms of operator norm inequalities. Maximal unidirectional perturbation bounds for stability of linear systems are also derived.
