Qualitative evaluation of production systems

Abstract

The human and organizational aspects in production system evaluation imply multi-disciplinary research and development of new methodologies. Flexibility and human aspects in manufacturing systems are discussed and a multi-level evaluation methodology is presented. The intuitive and quantitative levels are briefly introduced and the qualitative level is developed further.
