ABSTRACT

Sarcostemma species are found in a geographic range from Africa to India and then south into Australia. Here we report on Sarcostemma species indigenous to Luzon, New Caledonia, Thailand, North Vietnam, and southern India. A preliminary hypothesis to explain the range of distribution is presented.
