ABSTRACT
Metacrangonyx sinaicus n. sp. collected from a well in the Sinai Desert is described and illustrated. This species is closely allied to M. panousei Ruffo from Morocco. The relationships between Metacrangonyx Chevreux and Afrocrangonyx G. Karaman (recently based on three species from Morocco) are also discussed, and the genus Afrocrangonyx is here synonymized with Metacrangonyx Chevreux.
