NEW RECORDS OF WATER MITES (ACARI, ACTINEDIDA) FROM ISRAEL, WITH A DESCRIPTION OF A NEW SPECIES, KRENDOWSKIA LEVANTENSIS

ABSTRACT

Sixteen water mite species are recorded from Israel, of which 13 are new for the fauna of Israel, and one, Krendowskia levantensis, is new to science. Albia stationis orientalis is considered a junior synonym of A. stationis stationis.
