ABSTRACT
Specimens of Scolopendromorpha collected in Israel during 1990 formed the basis of some new morphological, zoogeographical, and ecological data concerning species of the genera Cryptops and Scolopendra presented here. A new species, Cryptops pori n. sp., is described and another one, Scolopendra mirabilis (Porat, 1876), is redescribed. A survey of the fauna of Scolopendromorpha from Israel and adjoining areas is also presented.
