The impact of Nuffield 0-level Biology—an agent of change in biology teaching?

Abstract

Evidence relating to the impact on British schools of the Nuffield O-level Biology Project is examined, particularly that relating to possible changes in teaching style. Explanations for the persistence of didactic teaching are discussed.
