Consideration of human familial inheritance and marriage

Abstract

Genetic considerations associated with Inbreeding apply to Man as well as domestic plants and animals, and diverse aspects of the social, religious and legal make-up of human societies are influenced by these. However, the Church of England's ‘Table of Kindred and Affinity’, which for centuries prohibited certain marriages, is In fact only partly genetically based and can therefore be used as the basis of an educational exercise In genetics.
