Pages 67-72 | Published online: 13 Dec 2010

Abstract

Eutrophication has been the central theme of the practical part of the 4th International Biology Olympiad. Parts of the tests have been modified and adapted for use in classroom practice. They are meant to give students an idea of the profound effects of nutrient availability on maize plants regarding growth, biomass distribution, morphology, and anatomy.
