Abstract
In this article Siegfried and Wilkinson summarize their extensive research into what is happening to the economics major in departments of economics and in schools and colleges of business. This work contains excerpts from “The Economics Curriculum in the U.S.: 1980” and “The Business Economics Major in the U.S.” published in the American Economic Review.
