The Newspaper Can Be an Effective Teaching Tool

Abstract

The effective use of newspapers as a supplement to economic instruction is a challenge to most instructors. The author details a method of bringing real-world problems to the classroom by creating a newspaper for classroom use. Students are reported to be motivated and encouraged to think and to talk about economics.
