Abstract
This paper describes the early experiences of one graduate school's attempt to develop an undergraduate program designed to educate and train BA social work practitioners. The process and structure by which a curriculum was built are described as are the educational objectives of the undergraduate program and the curriculum itself The strengths and weaknesses of the program, as well as major problems encountered are presented This is followed by a description of how the program has been modified and an identification of barriers to the complete realization of the program's original objectives.
