Abstract
Recent interest and pressure from state human service agencies in the development of middle-management oriented graduate social work education has led to increased experimentation in field instruction and campus courses. Findings are reported in this paper on a pilot project drawing upon student logs, student generated teaching materials, faculty supervisor, and agency supervisor interview data New approaches to teaching staff development are discussed with implications for student training and the use of graduate social workers in agency in-service training programs and community college technician training.
