Abstract
In this paper, theoretical basis is expounded, research described, results presented and analyzed, and implications for programming given for a study of social work education in approved baccalaureate programs. Educators judged BA graduates on level of acculturation, and on the most important location, student role, and key position instrumental in the process. A significant relationship was found between early acculturation efforts and high acculturation achieved. Most respondents affirmed their personal experience of reciprocal aspects of acculturation and gave examples. Most also agreed with the model of a BA social worker presented.
