Abstract
This paper describes the process of involving social work graduate students specializing in planning and administration in the design of management simulations. Particular attention is given to the integrative capacity of the simulation to combine knowledge and skills acquired in both classroom and practicum experience. A detailed description of a student guide to simulation design is provided, based on the experience of over 50 graduate students. Special attention is given to the merits of simulations as three-hour structured learning experiences, as well as the problems and potential of students as management simulation designers.
