Abstract

This paper introduces a plan for the systematic use of nonprint media in social work education in the form of a Media Planning Guide. The guide is a logical sequence of teaching steps that assists the educator in deciding when and where to use nonprint media. It also is a framework for organizing instructional events necessary for the development and implementation of educational activities. A definition of media and the theory and rationale for its use also are presented.
