Legal Content in the Social Work Curriculum

Pages 71-76 | Published online: 19 Jun 2013

Abstract

This article reports the results of a national survey describing law courses in social work graduate, undergraduate, and continuing education programs. Results also include information about the teachers of these courses, their qualifications, consultative activities, and views of the major issues in law and social work. The findings are analyzed in light of a conceptual rationale for the integration of legal content into the social work curriculum, and recommendations are proposed.
