Rural Students’ Attitudes Toward Their Teachers

Pages 88-93 | Published online: 08 Jan 2015

Abstract

An attempt was made to investigate rural students’ attitudes toward teachers by employing a forty-item rating scale. Subjects’ responses were compared over grades 7-12. This was followed by a factor analysis of the 820 rural respondents’ scale data. A general evaluation factor was found in addition to a Teacher Success factor and a Teacher Adjustment factor.
