Abstract

Expectancy of difficulty and time feedback were manipulated in order to investigate the effects of different feedback conditions on the performance of a simple dexterity task by 144 high school students. Expected levels in the degree of difficulty did not affect the completion time of the task. Females completed sooner than males. There was no significant difference in performance scores under different conditions.
